Wesley Coastal Conservancy · Eastern Cape
A sole-use villa where the dunes meets the sea - bush, beach, and the land of living fossils.
Set within a 275 hectare private reserve on the Sunshine Coast, Sandcastle is an exclusive villa for one party. Four en-suite ocean-facing rooms, two rivers of endangered cycads, and a protected shore of its own.
Situated between East London and Port Alfred, the coast boasts 300 days of sunshine and a warm Indian Ocean. Arrive by plane, helicopter, boat, or car - and indulge as days slow to the pace of the tide.

Two primary suites and two further en-suite bedrooms, each facing the Indian Ocean. Beach sand, organic forms, and natural fibres allow the villa to disappear into the horizon.
Two privately accessed rivers protect endangered cycads, plants older than the dinosaurs, down to the beach. The Xhosa have held this coastline sacred for generations; the reserve keeps it that way.
Immersive walks trace how these ancient plants are safeguarded - and how your stay supports their future.
