ACCESSING THE VILLA & RESERVE

Sandcastle is situated along the “Sunshine Coast” in the Eastern Cape, between East London (75 km to the north east) and Port Alfred (50 km to the south west). Access is by air, road or helicopter.

  • BY AIRCommercial aircraft from Cape Town or Johannesburg (OR Tambo) to East London Airport - 1.5 hours. There are 12 direct flights a day into East London from both cities.
  • BY HELICOPTERHelicopter from East London - 20 minutes.
  • BY ROADDrive from East London - 1 hour. No 4x4 vehicles are required to access Sandcastle.
  • PRIVATE AIRCRAFTThe reserve has a 700-metre grass runway, suitable for a Pilatus PC12, Cessna Caravan and other smaller aircraft.
